We are in need of volunteers to help with the NCCYC district. Some times we will be
listing a need for part time / one time event volunteers, and then we will have listing for
continuous volunteers. The continuous volunteers will need to be people that can
dedicate their time and are willing to put in the commitment to help the NCCYC district
grow and support the children of our community. If you are interested in any of the
following positions, use the contact button on the front page to express your interest.
1) Soccer Chair (continuous) This person would be the main
person for soccer. Some items they will be responsible for are: all
meetings involving their sport, review score cards, communicate
with parish sports coordinators, incident reports, red/yellow card
reports, plus others.
2) Track Chair (continuous) This person would be the main
person for track. Some items they will be responsible for are: all
meetings involving their sport, review score cards and maintain
standings, communicate with parish sports coordinators, incident
reports, red/yellow card reports, plus others.
3) Track Official in Chief (continuous) This person would be the
top official for track. Some items they will be responsible for are:
holding officiating clinics for their sport, assigning officials to each
games, maintain records of all officials for their sport, hearing
board meetings, involved in proposed rule changes, plus others.
Please have some experience in track and understand the rules.
4) Spirit Game Coordinator (continuous) This position may be
filled by one person or can be done by multiple people. Some of
the responsibilities of this position are: coordinate with all
parishes on obtaining players and coaches for the St. Louis Spirit
Games. In complete charge of the North County Spirit games
involving obtaining players, coaches, locations, making schedules,
programs, shirts and other items. Members of the NCCYC will be
able to assist and guide.
