1) The playing rules are based on the following publications.

Soccer = United States Soccer Federation
Basketball = Nation Federation Official Basketball
Baseball = National Baseball Congress of America
Softball = Amateur Softball Association of America
Volleyball = United States Volleyball Association
2) The following is when a protest must be announced during the game for it to be official.

Baseball = Before the next pitch or play (see rulebook for exact details)
Softball = Before the next pitch, legal or illegal. (see rulebook for exact details)
Volleyball = At the time of the infraction, before play is resumed
Basketball = At the first stoppage of play after the infraction
Soccer = At the first opportunity when play has stopped
3)  The following guidelines will be followed by all coaches, players and spectators.

Profanity - NOT TOLERATED

Unsportsmanslike Conduct - will not be tolerated in sports especially by Catholic
participants.

Respect for authority - The officials have authority over the playing fields, courts and
gyms, respect to them is a must.  Respect is also expected for any official member of the
hosting facility.

Punctuality - All teams and officials are expected to be present and ready to play at the
scheduled start times.

Dangerous play - This is not tolerated in any means.  The players must learn how to play
the ball and not the player.  Dangerous play can lead to a player being suspended for the
season or more.

Smoking, Intoxicating beverages, Controlled substances and fire arms -- are prohibitied on
the bench, on the field and in the gymnasiums.
4) FORFEITS - If a team forfeits 3 games in a row or 4 games over a season, they will
be removed from all remaining games of the schedule and all of their games will be
recorded as forfeits.

A $25 fine will be assigned to a team for each game they forfeit.  If the team lets the
league coordinator know at least 7 days in advance, the forfeit will occur but the team will
not be fined.  

All forfeit fees will go towards the Robert Schaller - Ed Kersting Scholarship Fund.
5) A request to reschedule a game must be made at least 5 days prior to the date of the
game.  This request must be made through the league coordinator or parish rep to the
Vice-Chairman.  If the request is approved, the notice must be given to the district
rescheduler no later then 4 days before the scheduled game.
